Bezmiliana Castle is outstanding - this fortress was built in the 18th century by king Charles III. We also recommend a visit to Tesoro Cave, a marine cavity with several halls where you can see the remains of cave paintings, inhabited as far back as the Palaeolithic period. With its 9kms of beaches of fine sand lapped by the clear, warm waters of the Mediterranean, Rincon de la Victoria boasts the tropical vegetation typical of the towns and villages of the Axarquia region.

The Higueron and Tesoro Caves contain ancient cave paintings. Bezmiliana Castle, once of great strategic importance, still stands at El Castellon.

The Virgen del Carmen celebrations attract curious observers to witness the traditional maritime procesion in which the fishermen carry their statue of the Virgin out into the waters of the Mediterranean.
